We have enjoyed a wonderful relationship with Bent Palm residents throughout the years, starting in the late 1990’s. The first major restoration and waterproofing project began in 2002.
An item of interest was the sagging of the very well-built mansard roofs, which overhang the structure. The structural engineer developed a plan for raising these very heavy areas to their original position, which was completed by a system of multiple hydraulic jacks and new interior bracing. We nicknamed the project, “The raising of the Titanic”.
