A beautiful 20-story condominium directly on the ocean in
Daytona Beach Shores. The rooftop chiller unit was recently
replaced and condo maintenance noticed the surrounding concrete louvers,
up to 20 ft. above the roof, were cracking and spalling. R&J
was employed to remove the existing and replace the concrete with 10'
high aluminum panels, which had to be raised on the outside of the
building, complete panel groupings assembled on the roof and then raised
into position. Additional strengthening was achieved by extensive
use of stainless steel fasteners and carbon fiber application to the
support columns. Additional projects have included the
waterproofing of many planter locations and expansion
joints. |
