One
of Bellemead's 11 story condominiums nestled with it's larger brothers
in Daytona Beach Shores.
Post tension construction has proven to be very successful in this
building with very few problems noted.
Most minor repairs have been the result of inadequate concrete
coverage which has, in some cases, been addressed with the use of epoxy
mortars.
During 2003, we were called to inspect the shell of the indoor pool
and found concrete delaminations were evident in the vertical
walls. The structural engineer recommended the demolition of the
corroded sections, rebar dressing and a shotcrete application to provide
structural integrity.
